  • Rice is also useful because it contains B vitamins, iodine, zinc, calcium. Its main advantage is that it improves metabolism and contributes to the removal of fluids from the body. This normalizes blood pressure.
  • Oatmeal - it contains vitamins B, P, E, calcium, sodium, zinc, magnesium. It improves digestive processes.
  • Millet - the presence of vitamin B, potassium and a lot of protein. The porridge of this product has a beneficial effect on the digestive and cardiovascular systems, also satiates quickly.
  • Barley porridge - it contains vitamins A, B, PP, E, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium, potassium, boron, calcium, chromium, iron and more. Its advantage is that it removes toxins from the body and normalizes the work of the thyroid gland.
  • Mashed potatoes are also useful - it contains zinc and potassium, removes fluids from the body.
  • Apple puree - it contains vitamins B, PP, C, E, folic acid, sodium, iron, magnesium. These ingredients improve digestion and enrich the body with nutrients.
  • Steamed meatballs are also suitable for consumption in mumps, the meat can be any. Prepared in this way, they retain more of their nutrients, and are more easily absorbed by the body.
  • Chicken meat - contains a maximum of easily digestible protein and a minimum of harmful fats and carbohydrates. Also: phosphorus, magnesium, iron, potassium. This meat is useful because it is digested quickly and normalizes blood pressure.
  • Fruits and vegetables are prepared in the form of puddings and purees. They are all rich in vitamins and nutrients that strengthen the immune system and help the body cope faster with the disease.
  • Fish - is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamins A, B, D, PP, H, also contains: calcium, magnesium, sulfur, fluorine, copper, zinc, cobalt, manganese. It has a beneficial effect on the work of the circulatory system, eliminates lethargy, normalizes the functions of the thyroid gland.
  • Dairy products are preferred because of the presence of calcium in them. In addition, they have a diuretic effect, normalize blood pressure and give energy to the body.
  • Other useful products are: nuts, seeds, legumes. They are all rich in protein and nutrients.

Harmful products for mumps

  • Do not eat acidic foods and beverages, including citrus juices, because they irritate the throat.
  • Spicy and fatty foods are contraindicated because they are not processed well and have an adverse effect on the work of the pancreas.
  • Consumption of raw fruits and vegetables, juices is not recommended.
  • Under no circumstances should aspirin be given to the patient, as this can lead to serious complications.
