Together with balls, tangerines, photos of loved ones, you can hang mouth-watering sweets on the Christmas tree! A ribbon, a wish and delicious homemade cakes - why not a gift?!

Here are some ideas for sweet Christmas tree decorations.

Cookies in the form of rings

Make classic shortbread cookies with chopped peanuts in butter.

You will need:

200 g butter, 130 g sugar, 300 g flour, egg, half a spoonful of baking powder, Vanilla to taste, 70 g peanuts.

Mix softened butter with sugar, vanilla, beat in an egg and add flour. The dough should be soft and plastic like plasticine. Wrap it in cling film and send it to the refrigerator for half an hour.

Then roll out the dough into a layer and cut out the rings using two glasses of different diameters. Toast the nuts in a dry frying pan, then chop. Brush one side of the rings with whipped egg white or milk and "bread" in chopped nuts. Bake on a baking sheet covered with parchment (nuts up) for 25 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.

Cookies can be prepared not only with nuts. Baked rings without additives can be covered with melted chocolate and decorated with colored sprinkles or coconut flakes that resemble sparkling snow.

This cake is perfect for decorating the Christmas tree. You just need to pass a beautiful ribbon through the hole, and the spectacular decoration is ready.

And for a more complex version of cookies with filling, sour cream-based dough is perfect.

Ingredients:

200 g sour cream, 100 g butter at room temperature, 200 g sugar, 2 eggs, vanillin to taste, 400 g flour, 1 tsp. baking powder.

To prepare it, combine sour cream, soft butter, sugar and eggs in a bowl. Add vanilla and flour mixed with baking powder.

Place the finished dough in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours, and then roll it into a thin layer and cut into small rectangles, place a thick filling (jam, boiled condensed milk) in the center and fasten the edges of the dough so that you get a tube.

At the end, connect the ends of the tubes into a ring, place on a baking sheet and bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

After cooling, you can decorate the rings with icing made from powdered sugar and a small amount of water or vegetable (berry) juice to give it color. For a change, try adding cocoa powder to this frosting.

Now it remains only to let the icing dry, and you can place the delicious cookies on the festive tree.

homemade sweets

Undoubtedly, on the days before the holidays, on the shelves of shops you can find sweets for every taste, including sweets of various shapes and varieties. However, it is much more pleasant to make them with your own hands, besides, it is not difficult at all!

We share a popular recipe for homemade sweets called "Brigadeiros".

You will need:

2 cans of condensed milk, 2 tbsp. l. butter, 5 tbsp. l. cocoa powder.

To prepare sweets, it is necessary to boil a mixture of condensed milk, butter and cocoa over low heat.

When the mass thickens (after 10-15 minutes), it must be removed from the heat and cooled, then formed into balls and dipped in coconut flakes, chopped nuts or confectionery sprinkles.

Wrap the finished sweets with colored paper so that you get a bag, and tie a ribbon, and then hang it on the Christmas tree. That's it, it's that simple!

Gingerbread decorated with icing

Appetizing, delicate and surprisingly fragrant gingerbread cookies are ideal for decorating a Christmas tree.

Ingredients:

90 g butter, 90 g honey, 1 tsp. soda, 4 eggs, 200 g of powdered sugar, 650 g of flour (or 400 g of wheat and 250 g of rye flour), 3 tsp. cocoa powder, 2 tsp spice mixes (cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves, nutmeg).

Choux pastry for such baking is prepared as follows.

Melt butter and honey in a thick-walled bowl, add a spoonful of soda (foam will appear) and mix, and beat eggs with powdered sugar in a separate container.

After that, you need to combine the melted mixture, beaten eggs and dry ingredients - flour, cocoa and spices.

It is better to first knead the dough with a mixer, and then switch to manual kneading, then divide it into 4 parts (for the convenience of subsequent work) and put in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Then it is necessary to roll each part of the dough into a thin layer (3-5 mm) and cut out the gingerbread cookies, not forgetting to make a hole in them (for threading the ribbon) using a cocktail tube.

Baking in the oven at 180 degrees will take 10-15 minutes. At this time, prepare the protein glaze for them by whipping 1 egg white and 200 grams of powdered sugar into the foam.

After that, it remains to place the icing in a pastry bag or syringe and apply it along the contour of the finished gingerbread, and then let it dry. If desired, you can apply any pattern on the gingerbread or make inscriptions.

Show your imagination, create and decorate the Christmas tree so that it gives you the feeling of a holiday for the whole year!
