Losing weight when desired and recommended significantly improves emotional and physical health, but it is a slow process. That is why some of those who want to lose weight resort to nutritional supplements to help him. These pills usually affect appetite, absorption of certain nutrients or speed up metabolism. 


However, experts do not recommend many of the dietary supplements on the market for weight loss, as their benefits are uncertain, in addition, they have not been studied for side effects and harms that can cause health. However, there are nutritional supplements that can actually help with weight loss and are safe for health. Here are six of them:

Expert advice is to consult a doctor before taking a particular dietary supplement to see if it will not be harmful in the individual case. The intake of supplements does not exclude the need to introduce a well-planned diet and regular exercise, which are the main methods of weight loss.


Calcium
We know that calcium is necessary for bone strength, but this mineral also helps reduce fat by preserving muscle.


The results of the research are contradictory, some find a link between calcium intake and weight loss, others do not.


A study by the American Dietetic Association shows that the inclusion of low-fat products has a better effect on a diet aimed at weight loss than the intake of calcium tablets. For this purpose it is necessary to eat three servings of yogurt or dairy products a day.

However, another study, in which women who lost weight took 1 g of calcium daily, found that more fat was reduced than in women taking placebo.

Although there is no difference in weight loss in this study, scientists suggest that calcium still favors the weight loss process.

According to another hypothesis of scientists, low-fat products are more effective, probably due to the presence of other specific proteins, magnesium andminerals that in combination with calcium have the desired effect.


Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA)
Strange as it may seem, some types of fat help to lose weight = This group includes conjugated linoleic acid, which is a fatty acid and a natural ingredient found in dairy products and red meat.
Clinical studies have shown that CLA helps reduce body fat and build muscle mass. The effect of the supplement was observed in a group of overweight people who took 3.2 g of acids every day for six months. At the end of the period, it turns out that they have lost more weight.

However, conjugated linoleic acid has some side effects - irritates the stomach, causes diarrhea and vomiting.
