On the shelves of retail outlets, you can see food products with the "eco" icon. This product segment is more expensive than others, but it attracts the attention of many buyers. Organic food products, or eco-bio, as marketers call them, do not contain components that are harmful to the body. When growing food raw materials, complex measures aimed at maintaining the health of the soil and consumers were used.

Features of eco-products

Growing ecologically clean raw materials, which will later be used to create organic food products, farmers do not use chemical processing. Raw materials are grown in a "natural" way. Farmers burn the beds, fertilize the soil with traditional old methods using manure, ash, planting mustard.

Pests are fought by specially bred birds or beneficial insects. Dairy products are obtained from animals that graze on eco-meadows specially created for organic farms. Producers of meat and dairy products do not use antibiotics, the birds receive high-quality grain, also grown on eco-fields.

If we are talking about fishery products, here, too, producers build ponds where different types of fish are bred. Such products are already on the shelves with the "bio" label. It is not so easy to get environmentally friendly products. As a rule, the labor of many workers is used, and it costs money. Therefore, organic products are 15-30 percent more expensive than conventional products.

How to choose eco-products correctly

Before the product reaches the counter labeled "organic", it must pass strict quality control. Only after this will he receive meritorious status. When buying eco-products, pay attention to the following points:

  • packaging - it must have a special eco-label. Each country has its own;
  • carefully study the composition - it is good to have a table with food additives with the index "E";
  • look at the date of manufacture and the period of sale - organic products have short periods. Milk will not sour for weeks, and apples will not lie for more than two weeks;
  • buy organic products in specialized stores - there are many of them now. By the way, there are many online stores that offer similar products.

Organic production is a special type of product. Useful substances are preserved in it, they have a beneficial effect on the body, so it has a "special" price. On the website of the online store "dash-market" eco-friendly products are presented. There is bread, dairy and meat products, canned goods and much more.
