Ovarian apoplexy is an unexpected violation of the integrity of the ovarian capsule (left or right), which is accompanied by profuse bleeding in its cavity. Occasionally, abdominal bleeding may occur.

Useful foods for ovarian apoplexy

In order to restore the body after such a health problem, especially in the presence of bleeding in the abdomen, it is necessary to adhere to certain principles in nutrition and to rely on useful products and dishes:

Mandatory to eat foods rich in protein (they help increase hemoglobin levels ) :

  • meat and beef liver;
  • buckwheat porridge;
  • beans and lentils ;
  • fish;
  • vegetables - pumpkin, potatoes, beets; leafy - parsley, lettuce, celery; green garlic feathers (cloves too);
  • fruits and berries - pomegranate, apricot, apple, blackcurrant, raspberry, strawberry and all that are colored in red and orange.

Drink plenty of fluids. It is good to choose alkaline products, as they help to restore the acid-alkaline environment of the blood.

Extremely suitable are:
  • fresh fruit - especially pomegranate , apples and carrots;
  • mineral water;
  • natural teas from strawberries, rose hips, rowan, blackcurrant.
  • hemagotic is also useful to take, but to follow the instructions and norms of intake.
  • honey - helps to increase the level of erythrocytes and normalizes that of leukocytes. Take 1 tablespoon in the morning on an empty stomach, then drink a glass of clean filtered water (maybe also non-carbonated mineral water).
  • consumption of dried fruits is mandatory: raisins, prunes, apricots.
  •  nuts - all kinds.

Dangerous and harmful foods in ovarian apoplexy

It is necessary to avoid products containing caffeine, acetic acid, alcohol, trans fats (fats in general should be limited). Namely:

  • canned food;
  • marinades;
  • vinegar;
  • sweet carbonated drinks;
  • brine;
  • strong alcoholic beverages;
  • black tea, coffee;
  • pastry;
  • semi-finished products.

All these products destroy the walls of the vessels, slow down the process of absorption of iron. Acetic acid destroys the membrane of erythrocytes, under the influence of the acid they stick together, which leads to their "death".

During the recovery of hemoglobin (after a large loss of blood) should be reduced consumption of dairy products and foods high in calcium (they do not allow iron to be fully absorbed).
