The causes of hypoglycemia in children are mainly two: ketonemia or acetonemia - acetone, acetic acid, b-aminoisobutyric acid appear in the blood; intolerance or high sensitivity to the leucine amino acid. In children, a special diet is prescribed, which limits animal fats in the first case, and in the second - protein. Avoid eggs, fish, nuts, peas, pasta. The diet should be prepared by a specialist.
