Strengthen Immunity With Cheese

Dairy products containing live lacto- and bifidobacteria, stimulating the immune system ...

A new study by Finnish scientists shows that regular consumption of cheese and other dairy products rich in lacto- and bifidobacteria are extremely beneficial as they strengthen the immune system.

The results of a study published in FEMS Immunology & Medical Microbiology show that the intake of probiotic bacteria strengthens the immune system in the aging process.

"Intake of probiotic bacteria is good for the immune system, namely such bacteria are contained in cheese," the study authors explain.

The study was based on data collected from volunteers between the ages of 72 and 103, who had to consume one piece of cheese daily for one month.

Dairy products containing live lacto- and bifidobacteria stimulate the production of special anti-cancer elements that strengthen the immune system and have been proven to prevent the development of cancer cells.

Dairy products retain the nutritional and biological properties of milk itself: high content of complete proteins and fats, vitamin and mineral composition and good absorption. It is because of these qualities that experts consider them to some extent dietary.

The results show that frequent consumption of cheese stimulates their immune system and can help improve the reactions of the immune system in adults, which is largely influenced by external factors.
