Sweet autumn grapes have many health benefits, and one of them is to slow down aging . This is due to the plant compounds in it, which are over 1600. These powerful antioxidants can affect life expectancy. It contains resveratrol, which can reduce the aging process and prolong life, and this has been proven even in studies.
Eating grapes often can benefit both brain health and memory . A study of healthy young people shows that drinking about 200 to 250 ml of grape juice a day improves memory and mood after 20 minutes of consumption. This is again due to resveratrol. The compound may also help prevent Alzheimer's disease.
Resveratrol also protects against heart disease, lowers blood sugar , blood pressure and prevents cancer. Its consumption reduces the risk of colon cancer. In addition, grape extract blocks the growth and spread of breast cancer cells.
In addition to resveratrol, grapes are rich in other antioxidants, including quercetin , beta-carotene, lutein, lycopene and ellagic acid. Compounds found in grapes can also help protect against high cholesterol levels .
