Many women want to lose weight in two weeks, for their birthday, for an important meeting or before summer vacation. To this end, they are looking for an effective diet to help them lose weight quickly and get in shape. But this is a very wrong way, because rapid weight loss is extremely harmful to health and can adversely affect the appearance. As a result, you will get not only the desired appearance, but also the sagging skin of the weakened areas and as a bonus you get headaches, nausea, dizziness and pale complexion.

Anatomy of weight loss

Excess carbohydrates and the calories they receive are transformed by the body into fat molecules and accumulate densely in fat cells. As a result, the fat cells become larger and fit snugly together.

In the process of losing weight, the intake of calories is sharply limited and the carbohydrates consumed through food are not enough to replenish energy reserves, so the body gets them from fat cells. But the enlarged cells, consuming fat, fill them with water, which leads to swelling. If you also get rid of water, the tissues lose their elasticity and the skin sags, normal metabolism is disrupted and health problems appear.

When you stop dieting, your cells store fat again, and if you haven't switched to a healthy diet, you're gaining more weight than you were before you started losing weight.

What happens to fat?

When you burn pounds, fats break down into glycerol and fatty acid chains. This happens as a result of brain signals, when the level of these same acids in the blood plasma decreases. The process occurs during starvation and fat reduction.

Fatty acids are insoluble substances, their transport in the blood is possible only thanks to proteins. Therefore, with the loss of protein, weight loss occurs at the expense of loss of muscle mass.

As a result of the fact that proteins and fats form relatively large compounds, with their presence the blood becomes more viscous. This is the reason why all diets require a large amount of fluids (to dilute the blood and avoid complications).

Protein distributes fat in the muscles if you train in the liver in parallel with the diet - if you just follow a diet.

When you burn fat, the volume of fluid increases. This fluid collects from the tissues and enters the blood, and if it weakens sharply, the volume of blood circulating in the blood vessels can also rise sharply. This raises blood pressure and is dangerous for the vessels of the brain. Headache and dizziness are possible.

Some of the fluid is returned to the tissues to lower blood pressure. The result is bloating - bloating from hunger. To reach this point, it is necessary to lose no more than 1.5 kg per week.

If you are not physically active during the diet, fat is burned only by the liver, and its possibilities are not endless. Some of the fat is deposited in the liver itself, forming steatosis , and also on the walls of blood vessels, giving us plaque cholesterol. With such weight loss, the risk of heart attack increases fivefold.

The loaded liver stops doing its job. One or two such diets are enough to cause digestive problems. Then the appearance of even cholecystitis, inflammation of the bile, accompanied by impaired excretion of the organ is possible.

In addition, due to the lack of fat, there is no exchange of fat-soluble vitamins A and E, and your beauty depends on them. Therefore, with rapid weight loss, nails and hair become brittle and fragile, the skin turns gray, becomes dry and flaky.

Many of the ways to lose weight fast are dangerous to health and have a temporary effect. For example, laxatives based on herbal or synthetic agents (hay, magnesium, various tablets) are often used. But this method in no way triggers fat accumulation: it irritates the intestinal mucosa and the intestines are cleansed. You lose weight and due to the lack of nutrients in the body, the active consumption of energy begins. The side effects of such a way to lose weight are enough - impaired digestion and absorption of vitamins and minerals, the result - vitamin deficiency, poor health, abdominal pain. In addition, the frequent use of laxatives to get used to them, the intestines become lazy and lead to constipation. Due to digestive problems, it is possible to develop inflammation of the intestines, as well as progressive weight gain.

Another often preferred way to lose weight is to take diuretics. It quickly loses 2-3 pounds, but this method is also not beneficial for the body, because such products lead to dehydration. In addition, water releases the beneficial minerals sodium and potassium, which leads to water-electrolyte imbalance, heart disorders, kidney problems and seizures. Dehydration accelerates the aging process of the skin, it loses its beautiful appearance - wrinkles, gray color, dryness and flaking appear.
