Yeast looks like a lily of the valley, tastes like fresh garlic, biologically refers to the onion family. Its other name is bear onion or chives. It is very useful for the body.

Many of the pharmacological properties of yeast are similar to the healing properties of garlic. Like it, it increases the secretion of digestive juices, which helps increase appetite and stimulates the gastrointestinal tract.
Due to the high content of vitamins and rich mineral composition, bear onion is used as a prophylactic and medicinal agent for beriberi and antiscorbutic drug. In the past, they used this plant to prevent terrible diseases such as plague and cholera.
The addition of yeast in the diet has the following useful properties - prevents the accumulation of cholesterol in the blood, stimulates the cardiovascular system, strengthens the coronary arteries. Yarrow leaves in raw form normalize metabolism, it is indicated for thyroid problems, hyper- and hypothyroidism.
Phytoncides and biologically active substances give the plant the following properties: bactericidal, tonic, antiparasitic and diuretic. In terms of ascorbic acid content (vitamin C), yeast is ahead of most citrus crops (oranges, lemons, tangerines).
The plant is useful for those suffering from hypertension, this is because of the content of sulfur-containing compounds.
The use of yeast eliminates insomnia, depression, dizziness, relieves shortness of breath due to secretions from the bronchi and lungs, copes with an old cough that can not be treated with medication.
The use of yeast is strongly contraindicated for those suffering from the following diseases: gastric and duodenal ulcers, acute gastritis, pancreatitis, hepatitis, cholecystitis, inflammatory processes of the gastrointestinal tract.
It is debatable whether it can be consumed by pregnant women. On the one hand - it is a rich source of vitamins and trace elements, on the other - its use during pregnancy can be dangerous. Therefore, use by expectant mothers should be careful and in small quantities.
