Yogurt Carbs

Learn more information about yogurt carbs. In this article we'll discuss yogurt carbs.

Yogurt is a good source of calcium and often has good-for-you bacteria called probiotics (look for "live active cultures" on the label). That said, some low-fat, fruit-flavored varieties have more than 40 grams of carbs in an 8-ounce serving.

For a lower-carb alternative, try Greek yogurt. The plain, no-fat variety has about 9 grams of carbs for the same size serving, and it also packs more protein than the regular stuff.
