Do you want to surprise your family and guests with an unusual menu of incredibly delicious dishes? That way! We chose 11 recipes for new dishes, cooked them and tried them with pleasure, we decided that we would definitely cook more. Hot dishes, festive salads, unusual pastries and, of course, a chocolate dessert - look!

1. Pie with meat (Maina)


Jewish puff pastry pie with chicken liver, rice and noodles - delicious, satisfying, unusual. With a broth or a salad of fresh vegetables, it will go with a bang. An excellent choice for a weekday lunch or dinner. Yes, and in the form of a companion is beautiful.


300 g puff pastry; 250 g chicken liver; egg; big carrot; large bulb; 150 g boiled noodles; 40 ml of vegetable oil; salt, black pepper to taste. 

Prepare the liver and vegetables for frying: wash, peel and cut the carrots and onions into half rings. In a skillet with vegetable oil, fry the liver over medium heat until the color changes, then add the vegetables. Pass the finished liver with onions and carrots through a meat grinder, salt and pepper.


Put the puff pastry on a floured table, roll out to a thickness of 5 mm, put the liver in a thick strip, boiled noodles on top. Fold in the edges and roll up into a large roll. Place the pie on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with the beaten egg. Make a few slits in the pie to let the steam out. Bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees until golden brown. 

2. Fish cakes


Soft and juicy inside, crispy outside. Serve these smelt patties with creamy sauce, fried onions and hot green peas with mint. The beauty! And if you do not want to fry, then cook for a couple, 15 minutes and you're done! By the way, cutlets without eggs.


400 g of smelt or other fish (preferably fillet); 2 medium potatoes; bulb; salt, spices to taste; a couple of spoons of semolina for breading; 3-4 st. l. vegetable oil for frying.

Rinse the fish, clean it, remove the head, tail, spine and fins. Scroll in a meat grinder or punch in a combine. In the same way, chop the peeled onion, grate the washed and peeled potatoes. Add salt, spices, mix, if the mass is too liquid, add a spoon or two semolina. 

In a frying pan over medium-high heat, heat vegetable oil, form patties, roll in semolina and fry until golden brown on both sides.

3. Salad "Pineapple"


Salad with chicken, pineapple, cheese, champignons, season with mayonnaise and garnish with walnuts. This salad looks amazing, the combination of products is superb. Try it and prepare for the holiday!


2 chicken breasts (or leg fillets); 400 g canned pineapple pieces; 300 g of champignons; 250 g of yellow cheese; bulb; 100 g walnuts (kernels); mayonnaise to taste; salt to taste; greens (parsley, green onion) to taste.

Boil the chicken until tender, chop finely. Cut mushrooms and onions into cubes and fry in a pan in vegetable oil until tender. Grate the cheese. Drain the juice from the pineapples and pat dry on paper towels. That's all the preparation, we begin to collect the salad.

In a large bowl, combine chicken, mushrooms, pineapple, half the cheese, season with mayonnaise and stir to combine. Put the salad on a flat dish with a steep pea, sprinkle with grated cheese and attach the halves of the nut kernels with mayonnaise. On one side, make a tail of greenery - any that is at hand. Salad "Pineapple" is ready!

 4. Puff pastries with onions


Such cakes can be served instead of bread with soup, with a second course of meat or fish, or as an appetizer with various sauces - tzatziki, hummus. Juicy, soft, savory snack for all occasions.


300 g wheat flour; 100 ml of hot water; 100 ml of cold water; 1/4 tsp salt; a bunch of green onions; 40 ml refined sunflower oil.

Mix flour with salt and divide between two bowls. Pour hot water into one, cold water into the other. Mix both masses and knead a soft elastic dough. Wrap with cling film and leave for 10 minutes. Then divide the dough into 3 parts and roll each into a thin layer, grease all parts with a brush with sunflower oil and sprinkle with chopped onion. Roll the tortillas into a roll, then roll them into a snail shape and roll them back into tortillas to fit in your pan.

It remains only to pour a couple of tablespoons of oil into the pan, heat it well and fry the cakes on both sides until golden brown. Enjoy!

5. Salad with chicken and vegetables


Bulgarian pepper adds an interesting note to this hearty salad. Otherwise, everything is familiar - boiled chicken, potatoes, carrots, eggs. We season with mayonnaise. And to the feast, and to the world!


200 g chicken fillet; 2-3 pcs. potatoes; carrot; bell pepper; bulb; 3 eggs; bunch of parsley; mayonnaise to taste. 

Boil potatoes, carrots, eggs, chicken fillet in their uniforms. Peel the onion, if you want, fry until soft in a spoonful of vegetable oil over medium heat. Some simply chop finely and add fresh, or douse with boiling water to remove bitterness. Peel and cut the bell pepper into cubes, do the same with boiled vegetables, chicken and egg, after cleaning them. Finely chop the parsley. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and season with mayonnaise.

You can serve the salad in portions, laying out with the help of a confectionery ring. Enjoy!

6. Rice casserole with canned tuna


Cheesy crust, light but hearty casserole from a bowl of rice and a jar of tuna. Tasty, beautiful, and even worth a penny. Excellent dinner!


200 g canned tuna; 200 g of rice; 8-10 cherry tomatoes; a bunch of green onions or parsley; 2 eggs; 100 ml of milk or cream; 100 g of hard cheese or mozzarella; salt, pepper to taste; 1-2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil. 

Boil rice in salted water according to package instructions. Drain the juice or oil from the tuna, mash with a fork and mix with rice.

Chop the greens, cut the tomatoes in half. Grate cheese and divide into two parts. Pour milk or cream into one part, add salt, pepper and mix.

Lubricate the heat-resistant form with oil, lay out the rice-tuna mass, pour the cheese-milk mixture, put the cherry halves on top. Send to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

Then take out, sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake for another 10 minutes. Ready!

7. Chinese steamed buns


These steamed buns are surprisingly soft and tender, perfect for both first and second courses. Yes, and with thick vegetable sauces as an appetizer they will go with a bang. Knead the yeast dough, and then bake for 20 minutes for a couple. The beauty!


450 g flour; 250 ml of water; 8 g dry yeast; 1 tsp Sahara; 1 tsp salt; 3 art. l. vegetable oil; a bunch of green onions.

In a large bowl, mix warm water, sugar, yeast, and two tablespoons of oil. Stir, add salt and sift flour. Knead a soft dough that does not stick to your hands. Wrap the top of the bowl with cling film and place in a warm place for an hour and a half.

Then knead the dough, roll it into a layer (rectangle), on which distribute the chopped green onions. Roll the dough into a long roll and cut into 4 cm pieces. Put one piece on top of the other and press down in the center with the handle of a wooden spoon or a stick. Pour into a steamer bowl and cook for 20 minutes.

8. Turkey fillet with tangerines


Juicy turkey breast with incredible mandarin aroma and honey taste. With rice and a light salad, it will make the perfect healthy hot dish for the holiday.


400 g turkey fillet; 4 tangerines; 3 art. l. honey; salt, freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Rinse the tangerines, cut two of them into pieces of 3-4 mm. In the turkey fillet, make transverse cuts, salt, pepper and put into the cuts along the tangerine slice. Wrap the breasts in foil, put in a heat-resistant form and bake for 25 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees. Then choose the fillet foil. unwrap, pour over a mixture of the juice of the two remaining tangerines and honey, bake, unwrapped in foil, for another 15 minutes. Enjoy!

9. Cheesecakes with coconut


Cheesecakes with sour cream and jam or condensed milk can be served both for a family breakfast and for a festive dessert. Add coconut flakes to the curd dough and get a new incredible taste! Let's try!


500 g of cottage cheese; 2 eggs; 40 g flour; sugar to taste (a spoon or two); 30 g coconut; refined oil for frying.

Pour the cottage cheese into a bowl, beat in the eggs, add sugar (vanilla sugar) and mash with a mashed potatoes with holes. Add flour and coconut flakes, knead with your hands. The dough should not be wet and viscous or too dense, it should be soft enough, not clogged. Flour may need more or less, add a little bit.

Pour enough oil into the pan to completely cover the bottom. Put the pan on the stove, turn on a slow fire. Roll the dough into balls the size of large meatballs. Put each ball on a barely warm frying pan and flatten. When all the syrniki have been laid out, turn them over, warm slightly, then increase the heat to medium or medium-high and cover the pan with a lid. Fry until lightly golden on both sides, turning occasionally, for a total of 3-4 minutes each. Enjoy!

10. Prunes in chocolate with a secret


Plum in chocolate with a nut inside - isn't that a delight?! And it’s very easy to make these super sweets!


200 g prunes (preferably large); 2-3 tbsp. l. peanuts or almonds (preferably peeled); 100 g dark chocolate.

Pour the prunes with boiling water for a couple of minutes, then put them in a colander and let them drain. If you have unshelled peanuts, roast and peel them. Almonds, like peanuts, are lightly fried in a dry frying pan (if yours is not fried).


Melt the chocolate in a saucepan over a water bath or over low heat. Prepare a tray (or board) - cover with parchment. We hide the nut in the prunes in place of the bones, then dip in chocolate and put on a tray. An hour in the fridge and the most delicate delicacy is ready!

11. Luxurious flourless poppy seed cake


Airy poppy seed cake with orange and lemon flavor! And not a spoonful of flour! Wonders!


75 g poppy; 75 g of sugar; 50 g butter at room temperature; 2 eggs; zest of one orange; zest of one lemon.

In a large bowl, beat the butter with 50 g of sugar, add the yolks and beat again. Poppy scroll in a coffee grinder and also pour into a bowl. Send the zest of one lemon and one orange there. Beat again with a mixer. 

Whip the egg whites with the remaining sugar in a separate bowl. Gently fold into the dough with a spatula. It remains to shift the dough into a small (diameter - 18 cm) detachable form, oiled or covered with parchment. Bake for 25 minutes at 180 degrees.
