It is prepared both in a small cup and in a huge cake form. Tiramisu is traditionally made with fresh raw egg yolks. Some people prepare cream with yolks in a water bath, and we offer a version without yolks, which will suit anyone and will not raise questions. 

Ingredients:

a glass of heavy cream a glass of mascarpone (to replace, beat with a mixer 200 g of cream cheese (cream cheese), 1/4 cup of cream and 2 tablespoons of butter) sugar to taste (or 2-3 tablespoons) 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 1 st. 1 tablespoon rum or amaretto (optional) 2.5 cups strong, cold coffee 200 g savoiardi (lady's fingers) cocoa powder for garnish 

Cooking:

Whip the chilled cream, sugar and vanilla to stiff peaks. Add mascarpone and alcohol. Stir with a spatula. Pour the coffee into a tall bowl (rectangular is best). Quickly dip the biscuits into the coffee and arrange in a layer in a baking dish (ideally 15 x 24 cm). Spread the cream on each layer of cookies with a spoon, you will get three layers (or two), so visually divide the cream into three parts. Wrap the mold in cling film and refrigerate for at least two hours. Before serving, sprinkle with cocoa - put a spoonful of the powder in a fine strainer and crush the top of the Tiramisu. Eat with a big spoon. Mmm!
