  • they are not abused,
  • choose the right diet within the period recommended by a specialist and
  • it is not resorted to only as a temporary measure to stop unreasonable eating.

 

Because if we abuse food and do not adhere to a proper eating style, the occasional rush to the purifying diet could not fulfill its goals. In the other two cases, the regime can lead to unwanted exhaustion of the body and impairment of some of its functions.

The essence of a cleansing diet consists in the consumption of mostly raw (maybe cooked) fruits and vegetables , natural freshly squeezed juices and a lot of water. Diets vary. However, the duration of such a regime should not exceed 5 days.

During the cleansing diet, it is important to replace coffee with herbal tea . Abstinence is recommendedfrom alcohol consumption as well as smoking.

Another important point is to avoid the use of easily digestible carbohydrates, simple sugars. During this period, natural sweeteners and sugar substitutes are stopped . It is not desirable to add even honey. It is also necessary to limit the use of salt .

To prevent excessive starvation, it is extremely important to follow the recommendations for periodic food intake . When eating only fruits and vegetables, meals should be every 2 hours. This will also prevent the ingestion of unexpectedly large portions of them, which could create a feeling of heaviness for a while and again severe starvation.

 



It is also important how the products are selected according to the time of day . It is good for breakfast to focus on fruits, which are sources of natural starch, but not potatoes, provide energy and saturate for longer. In the morning, eating 1-2 bananas with fragrant herbal tea is the ideal option to start an active activity. Rich salads are suitable for dinners. Seasoning with a little olive oil is permissible. A piece of natural cheese can also be added. For lunch it is appropriate to eat, for example, well-cooked green beans, lightly seasoned with salt and olive oil. A spoon or two of yoghurt is also allowed.

The other 3 meals are mostly fruit, maybe in the form of juice. Try to divide a minimum of 1500 - 1700 kcal during the day, giving about 400 kcal for the main meals. Distribute the restin snacks. Water

consumption should not fall below 2 liters. The point of a cleansing diet is somewhat more to "switch" the body to another type of diet. It can be used as a preparatory period for the introduction of a permanent health regime and help us limit the consumption of some less useful products to which we are addicted or eat out of habit, such as white flour pasta, confectionery, fatty foods, semi-finished products, etc.
