Alcohol Is Dangerous For Over 65 Years

Alcohol should always be consumed in moderation and in accordance with the physical capabilities, age and sex of the consumer.

Adults over the age of 65 who consume large amounts of alcohol are at increased risk of memory and coordination loss compared to young people who consume the same amounts.

A new study finds that alcohol has a much stronger effect and side effects are more pronounced in this group of people.

Researchers are monitoring the effects of alcohol on middle-aged volunteers and young people. They found that in older people there was a sharp increase in ethanol-induced ataxia - loss of coordination.

Memory loss, characterized by alcohol abuse, is a much more serious and common phenomenon among adult consumers, although the amounts they drink are the same as young people who do not experience these symptoms.
