Useful properties

Apricot kernels are a low-calorie food - in 100 grams of them there are only about 200 calories. They are rich in protein - about 7%. Nuts also contain vitamins - primarily vitamin E, and vitamin B17, also known as well g Dali. This substance has been used in the treatment of cancer, but its effect has not been fully proven.

Some people with heart disease take small amounts of nuts as an alternative to medication.

Harm to the body

Nuts should be taken carefully and not overdone. Due to the high content of amygdalin (which is a toxic substance), high intake can lead to cyanide poisoning. It manifests itself in nausea, rashes, headaches, fever. It is recommended to eat only a few nuts a day.
