Carambola is a delicious, sweet and juicy golden-yellow fruit. It is also known as "star fruit" because of the specific shape of the star.


Carambola originates from Ceylon. For centuries, however, it has been cultivated throughout Southeast Asia. It is widely popular in Malaysia, the Pacific, South America, Florida and Hawaii.
