We share useful tips that will definitely simplify your "kitchen life".
So that cooking for the family does not turn into a daily routine, make preparations for the entire coming week on the weekend. Freeze semi-finished products or ready-made meals that will only need to be reheated.
We prepare semi-finished products - first of all, dumplings and dumplings, stuffed peppers, cabbage rolls, meat and fish cutlets, meatballs, meat and fish steaks, chops. Leaving for work in the morning, transfer the desired portion of the blanks to the top of the refrigerator for defrosting. And when you come home, all that remains is to put out or fry, which happens almost without your participation. Dumplings and dumplings do not need to be defrosted in advance, just bring water to a boil and cook straight from the freezer.
Dishes that can be cooked completely, cooled and frozen are minced meat fried with vegetables, which can be used for naval pasta, lasagna or other purposes, pilaf, various pancakes with fillings, cheesecakes. Also, when leaving for work, put the desired portion in the top of the refrigerator, and then just warm it up in the microwave or on the stove.
You can also freeze the finished dough in portions - for pies, pies or pizza.
If you often buy chicken parts to use them for cooking first and second courses, we recommend that you reconsider this issue and buy whole gutted chicken carcasses. Cut them into pieces, use something immediately, and lay out the rest in portions and freeze.
What is the best way to divide carcasses? Buy 2 chickens at once to get 4 wings, 4 thighs and 4 drumsticks. Well, respectively, 2 breasts, which can be chopped into 4 parts. If you cut out the chicken breast fillet, then you still have a soup set. It is much more profitable in terms of money than buying ready-made parts. And there will always be chicken on hand.
How to do it correctly in order to keep the freshness of the greens longer?
As a rule, greens are sold in plastic containers or by weight. The seller always tries to give a bunch more than we need. Wash the purchased greens thoroughly, pat dry with a paper towel and dry on the countertop. Put a dry, clean paper towel in a container with a lid, and greens on top. Close the lid and store in the bottom tray of the refrigerator. The paper will absorb moisture and your greens will be perfectly preserved.
How to store fruits? Many will say that it's easy - put it in a specially designated refrigerator tray or even leave it on the table. Partly, you are right. In the second case, fruits will remain fresh for no more than two days, and when stored in the refrigerator, take into account our recommendations.
Never store fruits and vegetables in the same compartment. Many fruits give off ethylene gas, which is responsible for ripening, your vegetables will begin to deteriorate rapidly. The main fruit for ethylene is an apple. Knowing this, you can turn the situation to your advantage. For example, put an apple to unripe tomatoes and they will ripen faster. In this regard, it is better to store apples separately from other fruits on the top shelf of the refrigerator.
Do not fill the entire tray to capacity with fruit. Air must circulate between them. And if suddenly any fruit starts to grow moldy at the very bottom of the tray, you will not notice right away.
Storage of groceries - cereals, pasta, flour and other products of this series. Of course, one of the main problems that can lie in wait here is insects. They will gladly eat everything for you and pretty spoil your mood. To prevent this from happening, we give recommendations.
Set aside funds and buy glass containers with well-screwed tight lids. Firstly, when you open the cabinet and see transparent containers with cereals and pasta in front of you, you will get a real aesthetic pleasure. If the containers are opaque, then it is better to sign with temporary etiquettes what is inside, so as not to search. Secondly, when you pour from the packages, you can already notice the presence of insects and immediately get rid of this product. And thirdly, this guarantees you that if insects suddenly start up in some container, they are unlikely to get into others and occupy all the groceries.
