Defender Of The Fatherland Day! How To Pamper Your Beloved Men

February 23 is traditionally considered the day of the military and all those involved in the defense of the Motherland.

February 23 is traditionally considered the day of the military and all those involved in the defense of the Motherland. The international day of men, which appeared at the end of the twentieth century, somehow did not take root with us. Perhaps precisely because on the 23rd it is customary to congratulate not only the military, but all men, adults and even small ones.

If you want to have a themed party or just decorate a dinner in an original way, camouflage colors will be relevant. These can be napkins, small decorative items or candles.

In the midst of winter, when the New Year holidays are long behind us, February 23 is a great occasion to pamper men with attention, gifts and a delicious dinner. We have collected for you cool recipes "with character" that your loved ones will surely appreciate.

Salad "Male caprice" with smoked chicken

This is an easy to prepare, hearty and very appetizing salad that will perfectly complement any festive dinner.

Ingredients:

Smoked chicken - 200 grams; Bulb - 1 pc.; Egg - 3 pcs.; Cheese - 100 grams; Salt, spices, herbs and mayonnaise - to taste.

Hard-boil eggs in advance, cool. Clean the onion and chop. If desired, onions can be doused with boiling water or pre-marinated in vinegar, for example. Cut the chicken into small cubes, grate the cheese and eggs on a medium grater. Assemble the salad in layers: chicken, onion, eggs, cheese. Add each layer to taste with salt, spices and grease with mayonnaise. Garnish with fresh herbs and let soak for half an hour before serving.

Salad "Macho" with boiled beef

The combination of tender boiled meat with pickled cucumber will surely appeal to many. And the highlight of this salad will be nuts.

Ingredients:

Beef - 300 grams; Pickled cucumbers - 2 pcs.; Egg - 2 pcs.; Nuts - 70 grams; Salt, spices and mayonnaise - to taste.

Boil beef in salted water and cool. Disassemble the meat into fibers (you can just cut it, but the salad will turn out to be less tender). Hard boil eggs and peel. On a medium grater, grate the eggs and cucumbers. Assemble the salad in layers: meat, cucumbers and eggs. Spread each layer with mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste. Dry the nuts in a pan and chop. Sprinkle the salad with nuts and you can serve.

Salad "Tank"

If you want to cook not only a delicious dish, but also thematically decorated, then take note of this idea.

Ingredients:

canned sardines - 1 can; Egg - 3 pcs.; Green peas - 100 grams; Pickled cucumber - 1 pc.; Carrots - 1 pc.; Salt, pepper, herbs and mayonnaise - to taste.

Boil the eggs ahead of time and set aside. Grate them on a medium grater and combine with canned fish. Add chopped herbs, salt, pepper and mayonnaise. Mix everything thoroughly until smooth. Put the finished salad on a serving plate, giving it the shape of a tank. Now you can start decorating. Cut a thin slice of cucumber lengthwise and place in the center. Make wheels out of thin circles of cucumber. Decorate the “body” with peas, add a “muzzle” of green peas. Use thin slices of carrots for decoration.

Pork ribs in dark beer

For the main one, you can bake the ribs in Belgian style. The meat is juicy and incredibly flavorful.

Ingredients:

Pork ribs - 400 grams; Dark beer - 1 glass; Bulb - 1 pc.; Mustard - 1 tbsp. l.; Honey - 1 tbsp. l.; Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l.; Suneli hops, salt and pepper - to taste.

Wash the ribs and pat dry. Combine salt, pepper and suneli hops, rub the meat with spices on all sides. Add honey, vegetable oil and mustard, distribute evenly. Peel the onion, chop and put to the ribs. Pour in the beer and leave to marinate for 2-3 hours (even overnight is better). Arrange the ribs, along with the marinade, in an ovenproof dish lined with foil. Send to the oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake until cooked for about 1.5 hours.

Pink salmon in soy sauce

An alternative to hot meat can be fragrant and spicy fish. It can not only be fried in a pan, but also baked in the oven.

Ingredients:

Pink salmon - 4 steaks; Soy sauce - 2 tbsp. l.; Flour - 2 tbsp. l.; Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l.; Salt and spices - to taste.

Wash pink salmon, dry it. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour in soy sauce and let marinate for at least half an hour. Lightly dry each steak and coat in flour. Put the pink salmon in a frying pan with heated oil and fry until golden brown on both sides. Serve with vegetables, side dish or your favorite sauce.

Men's appetizer with minced meat and cauliflower

Hearty, fragrant and very original muffins can be served both for dinner and for breakfast, for example.

Ingredients:

Cauliflower - 250 grams; Minced meat - 300 grams; Egg - 1 pc.; Processed cheese - 1 pc.; Butter - 1 tbsp. l.; Bread - 6 slices; Salt and spices - to taste.

Prepare a mold for cupcakes, grease it with butter. Cut out circles of bread according to the size of the form and lay them on the bottom. Salt minced meat, add your favorite spices. Divide into 6 equal parts and lay out in a mold. Wash the cabbage, dry and divide into equal inflorescences. Put an inflorescence into each mold, drowning it lightly in the minced meat. Combine eggs with cheese and mash. Put the resulting cheese mass on top. Send everything to the oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for about 40 minutes until cooked and golden brown.

Soldier cake without baking

You can pamper men with a sweet tooth with a themed dessert.

Ingredients:

Cookies - 350 grams; Condensed milk - 1 can; Chocolate - 200 grams; Butter - 100 grams.

Grind cookies into crumbs in a blender or meat grinder. Melt butter with chocolate. Combine crumbs, chocolate with butter and condensed milk in a deep bowl. Mix everything thoroughly until smooth. Cover a small bowl with cling film and spread the resulting mass. Press firmly, wrap the top with cling film and refrigerate. After an hour, invert onto a serving plate and remove the cling film. That's it, the soldier's cake is ready.

Happy Holidays, Defenders!
