However, the question is which features of the particular person to take into account when choosing the right diet. According to nutritionists, one of the best options for weight loss is a blood type diet .

Its essence is as follows : according to the theory of the American naturologist James d'Adamo, food products are divided into useful, neutral and harmful to the human body depending on the blood type. Because this diet is directly related to the cell structure of a particular organism, the same products work differently in people with different blood types: some gain weight and others lose weight. Weight gain is not a cause but a consequence of disturbed processes in the body. The diet is aimed at eliminating such problems: the menu excludes foods that are poorly digested or toxic to humans; the body begins to cleanse itself of toxins that accumulate mainly in adipose tissue. This is how the weight loss process takes place.

Regarding which foods are useful, neutral and harmful for members of one or another blood group, D'Adamo's theory states the following:

The first people on the planet (the Cro-Magnons) had the same blood type - zero (0), which is still among the most common in the world. They hunted mainly and accordingly took only animal proteins, ie. the meat of slaughtered animals. Later, people began to engage in agriculture and their menu was diversified with plant foods. In this way the next blood group A appears. Then humanity enters a new stage of development - it domesticated wild animals and began to receive dairy products from them. Thus, the diet once again changes, leading to the third blood group - B. Representatives of the latter group (AB) appear relatively soon (about 1000-1500 years ago) as a result of mixing between carriers of groups A and B.

What changes occur in the body when eating according to blood type?

In addition to the fact that the body begins to get rid of toxins and burn excess fat, the possibility of inflammation of the lining of the gastrointestinal tract is eliminated; eliminates disturbances during digestion, causing bloating; does not delay the absorption of food, preventing weight loss; does not disturb the hormonal balance, which manifests itself in the form of edema and dysfunction of the thyroid gland.

Following a diet based on blood type is easy: just look at the products listed for your group - to consume useful, less neutral and exclude from your menu harmful.

Blood type 0

33.5% of people in the world have this blood type. It was from her that the other groups emerged. These people have strong digestive and immune systems. A high-protein diet (containing many meat products) is suitable for them.

37.8% of people worldwide are blood type A. Their immune system is weak, they are prone to all kinds of infections, and their nervous system is hypersensitive. An appropriate diet is strict vegetarian. The representatives of this blood group are recommended to eat vegetables. Limit the intake of dairy products, legumes and cereals. They should exclude meat, most dairy products, wheat foods, all kinds of pepper, ice cream, sugar, corn and peanut butter from their menu.
