It happens to everyone to overeat and then feel uncomfortable in their body. We offer detoxification and nutrient discharge cut meter to help not only in such a time and in a case where you just want to cheer and charge your body. But first let's understand a few important points related to overeating.

The results of overeating

  • After holidays, picnics or simply overeating, the body is loaded with excess salt. And every 3 grams of salt is a liter of water retained in the body. Therefore, you need to get rid of this water along with the salt. Apart from the latter, other products of metabolism remain in our body.
  • The nutritional centers of the brain and endocrine glands, which are responsible for absorbing nutrients and forming adipose tissue, are "trained" to eat large amounts of food. The "dose" of food is increased - the more you eat, the more you eat.
  • The liver and stomach are heavily loaded.
  • The stomach is overloaded and dilated. He can take in a lot more food than before.

What to do after overeating?

If you have allowed yourself to eat more than necessary and you already feel unwell in your own body, then you should remove excess salt from the body and eliminate swelling.

This can be done quickly. The result is a loss of 3-5 "water" pounds within a week or two. Doctors advise not to eat anything in the morning the next day after a hearty meal and to drink plenty of fluids. They can be any with a diuretic effect: freshly brewed tea without sugar (can black, green, parsley decoction), freshly squeezed vegetable or diluted with water fruit juices. Excess liquid is best released with carrot and celery juice (you can add a few tomatoes to taste; for 1 cup - 2 medium carrots, 1 stalk of celery and half a tomato). You can also pour lemon juice diluted with water in a ratio of 1: 5.

A good way to reduce the volume of the stomach is a diet with useful but high-calorie products.

You should eat nuts and dried fruits daily with a caloric content of 1200-1300 kcal (these are for example 100 grams of nuts and 200-250 grams of dried fruits), divided into 4-6 intakes. It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids between meals or 10-15 minutes before them (not less than 1.5-2 liters of water or unsweetened tea daily).

An alternative to nuts is a cocoa powder drink made with water or fresh milk or hot chocolate. The main thing is that the amount of calories does not exceed 1200.

Detoxifying diet

A long-term option for cleansing the body after the festive overeating is complete detoxification. The diet is made for a week, during which you can get rid of 3-6 pounds and improve your health. The preparation period can take place within 5 working days plus Saturday.

During this time, you should exclude from your menu:
  • meat and all meat products;
  • dairy products;
  • refined carbohydrates - white bread and white flour, pastries, white refined rice, pasta, etc .;
  • all foods that contain sugar and sweeteners - granulated sugar, powdered sugar, chocolate, candy, ice cream, fruit yogurts, etc .;
  • hydrogenated fats (margarines) and all products containing them (semi-finished products, "bought" pastries, etc.);
  • animal fats;
  • year;
  • fried dishes;
  • all carbonated beverages, even those labeled "light", packaged fruit juices, tea, coffee;

Do not smoke or reduce cigarettes to a minimum (3-5 per day);

It is recommended to consume organic and organic foods throughout the week, ie products whose cultivation does not use herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers grown in ecologically clean areas. The more natural the food, the better.

The main idea is to limit the intake of fats and harmful substances, maximizing the amount of purifying plant fibers. Along with the additional plant cellulose, the body is enriched with vitamins and minerals.

For six days, eat whole grains in the form of porridge, vegetables, seasonal fruits, legumes (beans, peas, lentils and all their varieties). You can add all kinds of oil - nuts, seeds, but without salt.

It is necessary to drink a lot of water (non-carbonated) to cleanse yourself of toxins. Every day, no earlier than half an hour before breakfast, drink a glass of water with lemon juice. This half-hour is the perfect time for a walk in the fresh air, running, a cycle of breathing exercises or gymnastics.

Sample menu for the seven-day cleansing diet
  • Breakfast: a glass of herbal decoction with one of the following optional:
  1. whole-grain bread;
  2. herbal porridge prepared with water and without salt;
  3. a glass of freshly squeezed fruit or vegetable juice (or a cocktail of them);
  4. Fruit Salad.
  • Lunch and dinner:
  1. fresh vegetables: salad seasoned with lemon juice, ground seeds or nuts (be sure to add sprouted grains or seeds from wheat germ to watercress);
  2. high quality cold pressed vegetable oil;
  3. bean dishes;
  4. an unsweetened fruit.
  • You can prepare medicinal teas:
  1. echinacea boosts immunity;
  2. dandelion - a mild diuretic and choleretic agent;
  3. ginger (fresh root or powder) - excellent tea is obtained from finely chopped ginger root, boiled with lemon, cut into circles with the peel;
  4. red pepper - has a choleretic effect, is a diuretic, improves the microflora, significantly increases metabolism;
  5. parsley and celery (can be added to dishes, make tinctures of them, etc.) - they are natural diuretics;
  6. mint - a sedative and choleretic agent;
  7. anise and dill - improve digestion and metabolism in general;
  8. licorice - a tonic and metabolic enhancer;
  9. traditional herbs (chamomile, oregano, St. John's wort, cranberry leaves) are also very suitable for making morning tea.
  • Last 7th day:

After 6 days of preparation, the body is ready for "water" purification. All day you should drink only water, freshly squeezed juices, herbal teas and vegetable broth without salt.

During detoxification, the body is enriched with minerals and vitamins. In addition, juices and herbal teas suppress harmful microflora in the digestive system and increase the benefits.

Excellent addition to a detoxification program are the various types of massages and body shaping procedures.
