In this article, learn more about Ginger - Why Start The Day With It?. Ginger gives us freshness and energy for breakfast.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It fills us with strength and energy, but sometimes we don't have time and we miss it. In other cases, we eat the same thing - a greasy patty from the diner, a waffle or any fruit left at home.
Ginger is the food that is sure to diversify any breakfast - it will both give us strength for the long working day and provide us with useful trace elements. Despite its specific taste, a little of the root will not hurt anyone in the morning. On the contrary, it has many useful properties. It is rich in vitamins A, C, E, B, as well as minerals such as magnesium, iron, potassium, phosphorus, zinc, sodium, beta-carotene, and others.
Replace coffee with ginger or add some root tea to it. It is a strong antioxidant, fights free radicals in the body. It is believed to have the properties of a caffeinated beverage, so it is drunk mostly in the morning, but never in the evening, because there is a risk that we can not sleep.
Ginger tea is a popular drink that warms on cold days, and as it turned out for us, spring is delayed for some time. One cup of spicy tea is enough to warm us (especially the throat), relieve nausea (especially in pregnant women), as well as various stomach ailments. One small slice as much as a penny is needed to make tea with about 400 ml. water. Also, taking this tea (on an empty stomach, early in the morning) helps to fight weight, because the root also has the ability to melt fat.
Sometimes we like to make fresh breakfast. And why not add a little ginger to it? In this way we will add a few more vitamins and minerals to the liquid, which is a prerequisite for a fresh start to the day. Fresh with citrus fruits, ginger and apples is an energy bomb that stimulates the immune system and protects us from viruses and colds. And the changeable weather outside predisposes to illness. Similarly, a few slices of ginger or root juice can be added to smoothies and cereals. This will speed up the morning metabolism and cleanse the body of bacteria and toxins that have accumulated in it the previous days.
The other thing that we can try in the morning is a few teaspoons of grated ginger, mixed with the juice and pulp of a lemon, a little honey to taste. We can keep the mixture in a jar and eat a little every day.
The use of ginger for breakfast and other meals can be very good for our health, as long as we do not overdo it and do not exceed the daily dose of 4 grams.
