Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and high-protein snacks are good and provide the energy you need.
High-protein foods are an important part of diets aimed at weight loss. They are healthy and satisfying and provide the necessary energy. Here are some suggestions for healthy protein snacks.
Eggs. In the busy weekdays, eggs for breakfast are extremely suitable. Eggs are a great source of protein and we can prepare them in different ways - boiled, fried, scrambled, smoked, omelet. This adds variety to our breakfasts.
Yogurt. Extremely useful and delicious breakfast. Yogurt is a rich source of protein, calcium and beneficial bacteria. Yogurt should be part of our daily menu. For breakfast we can combine it with fruits or oatmeal, it will satiate us and provide us with tone and energy. It is preferable to choose yogurt without added sugars.
Cereals. In the shops we can find cereals rich in protein. They also provide the body's needs for B vitamins. They are filling and delicious. By adding fresh milk to them, you also provide the necessary calcium. By adding nuts to your breakfast cereal, you make it even more nutritious and filling.
Cheese, cottage cheese and other dairy products. Cheese and yellow cheese are typical products for the Bulgarian table. They are nutritious and delicious, extremely suitable for a hearty breakfast. They can be combined with fresh vegetables or be part of whole grain sandwiches.
Peanut butter with fruit. Peanut butter is not a typical product for our country, but it can be found in any large hypermarket. Peanuts are high in high-quality fat (about 50%), protein (about 30%) and carbohydrates. In addition, they are rich in vitamins B1, B3, E and zinc. Peanut butter is a concentrated product that provides us with fast saturation and unique taste. In combination with rice cookies, apple or banana we get a useful and filling breakfast.
Nuts. The nuts are suitable for both morning and afternoon breakfast. Although high in calories, nuts are among the high-protein snacks that will satisfy hunger, and healthy fats and carbohydrates provide the necessary energy.
