  • 1 gram of dry yeast = 3 grams of fresh
  • 10 grams dry = 30 grams fresh
  • 1 teaspoon dry yeast = 6-8 grams of fresh
  • 1.5 teaspoons dry = 10 grams fresh
  • 2 teaspoons dry = 12 grams fresh
  • Per 400 grams of flour - 1 teaspoon of dry yeast or 6-8 grams of fresh
  • Per 500 grams of flour - 1.5 teaspoons of dry yeast or 10 grams of fresh pressed
  • Per 600 grams of flour - 2 teaspoons of dry yeast or 12 grams of fresh pressed

And more :

  • When the recipe states the amount of 1 teaspoon, it means that it is without a tip, equal; other cases should be specified.
  • If instead of dry yeast you use fresh, then the latter should be mixed with 1.5-2 tablespoons of warm milk and left warm for 20 minutes.
  • A temperature of 25-28 degrees is most suitable for yeast reproduction.
  • Alcoholic fermentation is most active at a temperature of 30-35 degrees.
  • At a temperature of 45-50 degrees and above, the yeast cells die.
