How To Cook Apple Circles With Cinnamon - Recipe

Required products :

  • 3-4 large apples
  • frying oil

For the dough :

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of milk + 1 teaspoon of vinegar / or a cup of buttermilk /

For rolling :

  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Method of preparation :

  • In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and sugar.
  • Lightly beat the egg in a small bowl and add the buttermilk.
  • Transfer the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Peel the apples and cut them into slices. Cut the core and divide each slice into two circles.
  • Dip the apple rings in the dough, shake off the excess and fry in a pan over high heat until golden brown. Keep in mind that the oil should be about 5 centimeters deep.
  • Remove the rings on kitchen paper to drain off excess fat.
  • While warm, roll them in a mixture of powdered sugar and cinnamon.
  • Serve with a smile! :)
