Put the pieces of bacon and olive oil in a cold pan, then heat and fry for 3-4 minutes. Add onion, and after it softens - garlic, thyme and tomato paste. Stir and fry for 3 minutes, then pour the canned tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes until the liquid is reduced.
Add the beans, and after two minutes remove from the heat and stir the Parmesan cheese into the mixture.
Turn on a sandwich maker that comes with sandwich attachments.
Spread the slices on one side and close them on sandwiches, putting the stuffing and pieces of mozzarella in each. Close the slices so that the greased side remains on the outside.
Bake them for about 8 minutes until golden and crispy. Serve the sandwiches hot.
