Required products :
2 medium beets
1 orange
1/2 teaspoon walnuts
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon honey
salt and pepper to taste
Method of preparation :
Boil or roast the beets, then grate them.
Grate the orange peel, squeeze the juice from half a citrus.
Crush the walnuts coarsely.
Peel the garlic cloves.
Mix the beets with the walnuts in a blender bowl, pour 4 tablespoons of orange juice, honey, crushed garlic, both vinegar and salt and pepper to taste.
Beat until smooth, try the taste and season further according to your preferences.
Transfer the pate to a suitable bowl, sprinkle generously with grated orange peel, whole walnuts and serve with crispy bread.
