Required products :

  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 4 well ripened pears
  • 1 dose of pie dough
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar for sprinkling
  • ice cream to serve (optional)

Method of preparation :

In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon, sugar, cardamom and other spices.

Cut the pear in half and remove the seeds, then cut into thin slices, about 2 millimeters thick, trying to keep the integrity of the pears and the slices remain glued to each other.

Spread the pie dough in the prepared tray lined with baking paper and transfer the pears, sliding them slightly into each other to give them a more beautiful look. When arranging on the dough, leave 2 cm at the end.

Sprinkle with the mix of sugar and spices abundantly between the pear slices and fold the edges of the dough towards the center, slightly overlapping the pears.

Beat the egg and spread the edges of the dough, then sprinkle them with brown sugar.

Bake for 25 minutes at 220 degrees (in a preheated oven) and serve breadcrumbs warm with a ball of vanilla ice cream.
