Required products :

  • 400 grams of pizza dough (or homemade dough)
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper flakes

for dip :

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons mayonnaise
  • 240 grams of cream cheese
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella
  • 1/2 teaspoon + 2 tablespoons parmesan, grated
  • 1 can of 400 grams of artichokes, drained and chopped
  • 150 grams of frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1/4 tea cup chopped red pepper

Method of preparation :

Place a fireproof bowl (at least about 12 cm in diameter) in the middle of a 25 cm tray.

Cut the dough into balls, which you arrange on the outside of the bowl. Cover and leave the dough to rise.

Preheat oven to 200 degrees and melt 6 tablespoons butter. Mix them with garlic powder and hot red pepper. Spread the resulting aromatic oil on the risen dough. Save the rest of the oil for later.

Bake the dough for 15-18 minutes until golden.

During this time, fry the mushrooms in a little oil for 5-7 minutes, add the garlic and 1 minute later remove from the heat.

In a large bowl, mix the mayonnaise, cream cheese, 3/4 cup mozzarella and half a cup of Parmesan. Add the mushrooms, artichokes, spinach and peppers.

Put the resulting mixture in the center of the bread (in place of the bowl) and sprinkle with a little hot pepper and the remaining mozzarella.

Brush the bread with the remaining butter and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese.

Bake for another 10-15 minutes until the cheeses are melted and the bread is golden brown.
