How To Cook Chicken Liver Pate With Soft Cheese, Garlic And Brandy - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small clove of garlic or to taste
  • 200 grams of chicken livers, cut into large cubes
  • 30 milliliters (2 tablespoons) of water
  • 15 milliliters (1 tablespoon) brandy
  • 2 teaspoons a mixture of spices of your choice
  • 200 grams of low-fat soft cheese
  • ground black pepper
  • lemon slices and parsley sprigs for decoration
  • toasted slices to serve

 

Method of preparation :

Mix in a suitable bowl onion, garlic, liver, spices and pour 30 milliliters of water. Place on the stove and cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes (until the livers are ready and the onions are soft).

When the mixture has cooled a bit, puree with a blender. Add the soft cheese and beat again. Season with black pepper and transfer the pate to a suitable container, which you close and store in the refrigerator.

Before serving, divide into 4 portions, place on a plate, garnish with lemon slices, parsley sprigs and serve with warm toasted slices.
