This recipe requires a lot of ingredients, but it's worth it - the rich taste you will get is irreplaceable. The ingredients are for 4 servings and the preparation will take you about 50 minutes .

 

Necessary products

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons curry
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger root
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • salt to taste
  • 2 boneless halves of chicken breast, cut into chunks
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon yogurt
  • 3/4 tea cup of coconut milk
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot red pepper
 

Method of preparation

Put olive oil in a pan and heat it to medium heat. Fry the onion until brown. Pour the garlic, curry, cinnamon, paprika, bay leaf. ginger, sugar and salt. Stir everything for 2-3 minutes.

Now add the chicken, tomato sauce, yogurt and coconut milk. Bring to the boil, then reduce the temperature. Let simmer for about 25 minutes.

Remove the bay leaf. Add the lemon juice and hot red pepper. Stir and simmer for a few more minutes, then remove from the heat.

Serve the chicken while warm. Enjoy your meal!
