How long does it take the body to process different types of food and beverages ? Here is the answer:

- 1-2 hours: water, tea, coffee, cocoa, broth, milk, boiled eggs, rice, boiled river fish;

- 2-3 hours: hard-boiled eggs, omelet, boiled sea fish, boiled potatoes, bread;

- 3-4 hours: chicken and beef (boiled), rye bread, apples, carrots, radishes, spinach, cucumbers, french fries, ham;

- 4-5 hours: legumes (peas, beans, etc.), game, herring, roast meat;

- 5-6 hours: mushrooms, bacon.

Try not to eat 3-4 hours before bedtime. If you stick to this rule while there is food in the stomach, then you can not only lose weight (due to the fact that you do not overeat), but also maintain the health of the gastrointestinal tract.
