Required products :

  • 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons whole coconut milk
  • 1/2 orange, finely grated peel and squeezed
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter, chopped
  • 250 grams of dark chocolate
  • 40 grams of tequila
  • unsweetened cocoa powder

Method of preparation :

  • In a small saucepan, combine the coconut milk, orange juice and grated orange peel and heat over medium heat.
  • Once the mixture boils, remove from the heat and let stand for 1 hour.
  • Cut the chocolate into small pieces and transfer it to a heat-resistant bowl.
  • Return the pan to the hob, add the butter and stir until melted.
  • When the orange mixture is bubbling, pour it over the chocolate and stir until the pieces are completely melted.
  • Add the tequila and stir again.
  • Allow the "dough" to cool and place it in the refrigerator to set.
  • Use a spoon to make truffles of approximately the same size.
  • Shape them with your hands, roll in cocoa and serve.
