Required products :

100 grams of einkorn
1 teaspoon water
50 grams butter
1 onion
1 carrot
salt to taste

Method of preparation :

Clean the einkorn, wash it, fill it with water and let it stand overnight for the beans to swell.

Melt the butter in a saucepan and fry the finely chopped onion and grated carrot.
When the onion turns golden, pour water into the pot to cover the vegetables and wait for it to boil. Add salt. Once the water boils, add the einkorn, close the pot with a lid and leave on the stove until the beans are ready. They must absorb all the fluid. If they still remain solid, add a little more boiling water.
