Cut the fruit into two parts, remove the stones.
Melt the butter over low heat, remove from the heat, add the sugar and rum. Stir until the crystals dissolve.
Then pour the sweet liquid into a large bowl, in which you put the halves of peaches. Stir to cover the fruit with the oil mixture.
Arrange them on a hot grill with the cut parts facing down. Bake for about 5 minutes, until golden brown.
Then turn to the other side and let them cook until soft and a yellow crust forms.
Meanwhile, grease with oil.
Serve the dessert with caramel ice cream.
