Learn how to cook "Homemade bread with onions, olives and savory". Delicious recipe.
Required products :
250 grams of wheat flour
150 milliliters of fresh milk
60 grams of pitted olives
1 onion
50 grams of butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
10 grams of dry yeast
2 teaspoons dry savory (or rosemary)
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
Method of preparation :
Peel and chop the onion.
Finely chop the olives as well.
Heat 20 grams of butter in a pan and fry the onions until transparent, until slightly pink.
Add the olives and dry savory. Stir well and after a minute remove from the heat.
Heat the milk slightly and dissolve the remaining 30 grams of butter in it.
Add the dry yeast to the mixture.
Stir well to dissolve the yeast and not form lumps.
Add the sifted flour, salt and milk mixture.
Knead an elastic dough that is easily separated from the hands.
Pour the prepared filling and mix once more.
Sprinkle the dough with a little flour, cover with a cotton cloth and leave in a warm place for 45 minutes.
The volume must be doubled.
Mix the yolk with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper, sprinkle with flour. Give the dough the shape of bread with a thickness of 2 - 2.5 cm and place in the pan. Make incisions on the surface and leave for 15 - 20 minutes.
Then spread with the yolk and bake in the oven at 210 degrees for about 30 minutes.
Wait for the bread to cool and serve.
