How To Cook Homemade Mayonnaise With Olive Oil And Mustard - Recipe

Required products :

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

 

  • In a medium glass bowl, mix the egg yolks, lemon juice and mustard.
  • Start beating with a mixer on high speed, adding olive oil very slowly. Be patient, as the olive oil will separate if you add it too quickly.
  • When the mayonnaise thickens, season it with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Stir and transfer to a clean glass jar.
  • Seal tightly and store in the refrigerator.
