Required products :

  • 1 3/4 tea cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon fresh milk
  • cinnamon sugar for sprinkling

Method of preparation :

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees and cover the bottom of a medium-sized baking tray with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Add the pumpkin puree, eggs and milk and mix with a wooden spoon until a moist and sticky dough.
  • If you find it difficult to form a loaf, add a little more flour.
  • Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and shape them with your palms.
  • Spread in the pan and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  • Bake the loaves for 25-30 minutes until lightly browned.
  • Allow them to cool for about 5 minutes in the pan and transfer to a wire rack to cool to room temperature.
  • Serve with oil or something of your choice.
