Grilling fish can be a real challenge, and while any other meat is guaranteed to cook well, there are some conditions with fish that are important to know.
Sometimes the fish sticks, breaks down and looks like leftovers rather than an appetizing dinner.
To avoid everything, there are some subtleties that you need to follow, and so you will ensure a really tasty and healthy dinner that even looks good.
Not every type of fish is suitable to be grilled. Some just can't stay whole, so you should choose thicker fillets such as salmon, swordfish, tuna, halibut. And don't forget to leave the skin on the fillet.
Another option is to roast the fish whole, so you can afford some more tender fish such as mackerel, trout, hake.
An option is to use a fish grill that presses the product. This eliminates the possibility of it sticking to the appliance and you can easily turn it over during cooking.
If you want to have a crispy crust on the fish and still be juicy enough on the inside and not overcooked, it is important to clean the grill well to ensure maximum contact between the product and the appliance.
To do this, heat the grill and clean the reotan with a wire brush, removing from it all the remnants of previous use. You should grease using greaseproof kitchen paper. Rub until the sticks become shiny.
After doing all this, putting the fish on the grill, it will bake evenly, and the chance of sticking is minimal.
Don't forget to prepare the fish for roasting. Dry it well from excess moisture. Then grease it on both sides with oil. When baking, first place the skin side down, across the rheotans. If your grill has a lid, you can put it on. When the skin becomes crispy, turn the fish over and continue baking. If, when you try to turn it over, it sticks and you fail, wait a few more minutes, after which you can easily separate it from the appliance.
