Required products :

  • 200 grams of raw unsalted nuts / peanuts, almonds, cashews, walnuts, hazelnuts, etc./
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • a few drops of walnut oil

Method of preparation :

  • Pour the nuts into a pan and bake them in a preheated 180 degree oven for 5-10 minutes, depending on the type. For example, peanuts and walnuts will be ready the fastest, and hazelnuts and almonds the slowest.
  • Transfer them to a blender, sprinkle with salt and puree on high speed for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Switch off the appliance, return the pieces of nuts stuck to the wall, add a few drops of walnut oil and mash again. Initially, the nuts will crumble, but this should not disarm you.
  • Mash again until a smooth creamy mixture is obtained.
  • Transfer the nut oil to clean, glass jars with airtight closures and store in the refrigerator.
  • You can serve it with toasted slices or use it in recipes for various dishes and desserts. It's all a matter of imagination and taste.
