How To Cook Jamie Oliver's Recipes: Quick Cheddar Cheese Omelette - Recipe

Required products :

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 10 grams of grated cheddar cheese
  • pinch of sea salt
  • freshly ground black pepper

Method of preparation :

  • Beat the eggs in a bowl using a fork. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper and mix well.
  • Heat a small non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Grease with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil and carefully pour the eggs.
  • Slightly tilt the pan on all sides to distribute evenly on the bottom.
  • When the omelette starts to cook and harden, but there are still raw eggs on top, sprinkle it with grated cheddar cheese.
  • Using a spatula, separate the edges from the pan and carefully fold it in half.
  • When it acquires a golden brown color underneath, slide it into a plate.
  • Garnish the omelette with cherry tomatoes and serve with wholemeal bread.
