How To Cook Layered Salad With Chicken, Potatoes, Dried Fruits And Nuts - Recipe

Required products :

  • 400 grams of smoked chicken
  • 100 - 150 grams of prunes
  • 100 grams of walnuts
  • 2 carrots
  • 4 potatoes
  • 4 eggs
  • 300 grams of yellow cheese
  • 250 grams of mushrooms
  • mayonnaise
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

 

For decoration:

  • 1/2 fresh cucumber
  • 3 tablespoons finely ground walnuts
  • parsley stalk

 

 

Method of preparation:

Boil the eggs, let them cool, peel them and grate them on a fine grater.

Wash the potatoes and carrots, boil until cooked and peel.

Grate the carrots with a large grater, cut the potatoes into small cubes.

Wash the mushrooms, dry, chop finely and fry them for 7 minutes in 1 tablespoon of hot oil. At the end of cooking, season with salt and pepper.

Wash the prunes, cut them into small pieces (if you think the fruit is too dry, pour hot water over them for 5-10 minutes).

Grate the yellow cheese, chop the chicken, grind the walnuts.

"Assemble" the salad in a suitable container, arranging layers of the products in the sequence described below:

  • a row of carrots, salt, spread with mayonnaise;
  • half of the grated yellow cheese;
  • half of the grated eggs;
  • half of the potatoes, salt, spread with mayonnaise;
  • half of the walnuts;
  • prunes;
  • shredded chicken + mayonnaise;
  • fried mushrooms;
  • the remaining walnuts;
  • the remaining potatoes, salt, spread with mayonnaise;
  • the remaining eggs;
  • the remaining yellow cheese.

 

Garnish the finished salad with fresh cucumber straws, sprinkle with ground walnuts, put parsley leaves or decorate to your liking. Put it in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
