Required products :

  • 100 grams of lentils
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 small onion
  • 30-40 grams of ground walnuts + 6 halves of nuts for decoration
  • 30 milliliters of oil
  • 50 grams of butter
  • pinch of garlic powder
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • dill to taste
  • 200 milliliters of water

 

Method of preparation :

Wash the lentils, pour them into a suitable container and pour hot water in a ratio of 1: 3. Boil it over medium heat for 20 minutes, periodically removing the foam that forms. The beans must be boiled.

Peel a carrot and onion, cut them into small cubes and fry in oil until soft (about 3-5 minutes).

In a deep bowl, mix the lentils and fried vegetables, add a pinch of garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste, butter and ground walnuts.

Puree the mixture and the pate is ready. Pour it into a plate or bowl, garnish with whole walnuts and serve.
