Required products :

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1/2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped rosemary (+ more stalks per serving)
  • lubricating oil
  • 4 onions

Method of preparation :

Soak 4 wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix the ketchup with the vinegar, honey and mustard. In this combination put finely chopped rosemary.

Peel an onion and cut it into circles about 1.5 cm thick. Thread 3-4 of them on the stick.

Heat a barbecue or grill and rub with onions.

Spread the onion with the sauce and place on the grill, bake for about 20-25 minutes, until done.

Serve with more fresh rosemary and add the sauce.

You can use the same marinade for meat.
