For lovers of Mediterranean cuisine - a salad with tuna, quinoa and vegetables. It will take you 30 minutes to prepare this appetizing appetizer , and the ingredients are for 4 servings . Let's start!

 

Necessary products

  • 2/3  teaspoon quinoa
  • 1 1/2  teaspoon water
  • 300 grams of canned tuna
  • 1 teaspoon thawed peas and carrots
  • 1/2  head red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2  tea cup Italian salad dressing
  • 3/4  tea cup halved cherry tomatoes

 

Method of preparation

Put the quinoa in a fine strainer and rinse it with cold water, drain. Put it in a small saucepan with 1.5 teaspoons of water. Bring to the boil, then reduce the temperature. Put the lid on the pan and simmer for about 15 minutes. After removing from the heat, drain the quinoa from the water.

In a large bowl, place the tuna, peas, carrots, onions and dressing. Add the warm quinoa. Stir and allow to cool to room temperature.

Add the cherry tomatoes before serving the salad. Enjoy your meal!
