Learn how to cook "Mini pancakes with red orange and cardamom". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 125 grams of flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 200 milliliters of buttermilk
  • 2 eggs, divided into whites and yolks
  • peel of 1 red orange
  • the juice of 1 red orange
  • 50 grams of melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

Method of preparation :

In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cardamom and a pinch of salt. In another bowl, beat the buttermilk with the yolks, orange peel and juice, and butter.

Pour the liquid ingredients into the flour and mix.

Beat the egg whites until soft peaks and add the sugar to the crystals and mix well again.

Carefully transfer the egg whites to the dough.

Use a pan for mini pancakes (see below!) And heat it.

Put 1 tablespoon of the mixture in the holes and after a minute turn, bake the whole dough in the same way.

An alternative is to use a simple non-stick pan. Put 1 tablespoon of the dough in the pan, and turn, the only difference will be that in this case, the buns will not be in a perfect round shape.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar when serving.
