How To Cook Oatmeal Dessert With Walnuts, Blackberries And Apples - Recipe

Required products :

  • 500 milliliters of fresh milk
  • 2 small cinnamon sticks
  • 6 cardamom pods, peeled
  • 2 apples, peeled, peeled and cut into small cubes
  • 200 grams of oatmeal
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 100 grams of crushed walnuts
  • 320 grams of blackberries

for garnish:

  • fresh or yogurt
  • maple syrup (or honey)

Method of preparation :

Turn the oven to 200 degrees.

Boil the milk, spices and apples in a saucepan covered with a lid. Simmer for 10-12 minutes, remove from the heat and set aside for at least 15 minutes, remove the spices.

Mash the apples in a saucepan with the milk. Pour the oats, egg, vanilla, baking powder, walnuts and blackberries and stir. Transfer the mixture to a pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until done.

Serve the dessert with fresh or yogurt and maple syrup (or honey).
