How To Cook Orange Pancakes With Oatmeal - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1/2 teaspoon flour
  • 1/2 cup wholemeal flour
  • 1/2 cup fine oatmeal
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 3/4 tea cup of orange juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Method of preparation :

  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, oatmeal, baking powder and salt. Stir well.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs with a fork.
  • Add the orange juice, milk and melted butter.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix briefly until a thick dough.
  • Heat a Teflon pan over medium heat and grease it with oil.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of the mixture into the pan and bake for about 3-4 minutes, turn and bake for another 2-3 minutes. Repeat with the remaining dough.
  • Serve the pancakes warm, garnished with fresh fruit.
