How To Cook Pasta With Broccoli Pesto With Peas And Bacon - Recipe

Necessary products

  • 100-120 grams of pasta per serving

 

For the broccoli pesto:

  • connection basil
  • a handful of broccoli inflorescences
  • yellow cheese (can parmesan or other suitable type)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • juice of one lemon
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic

 

In addition:

  • 150 grams of frozen peas
  • 2 thin strips of bacon
  • ground black pepper

 

Method of preparation :

In a blender mix the products are pesto sauce: raw broccoli, which you have previously divided into inflorescences and scalded with boiling water (no need to boil them), yellow cheese / parmesan, garlic, basil, lemon juice and olive oil.

 

Beat until smooth.

 

Leave the sauce for a while and cook the pasta. Meanwhile, fry the bacon (cut into pieces).

 

Once the fat has melted, add the peas and let the mixture simmer for a few minutes.

 

Two minutes before the pasta is ready, drain the water, separating and keeping some of it.

Pour them into the pan with the bacon and peas, put 3-5 tablespoons of pesto, a little grated cheese, stir, pour a few tablespoons of the water you separated.

Stew everything on low heat for 1-2 minutes, after which you can serve the dish with pieces of tomato, for example.
