Required products :
- 60 grams of fresh basil leaves
- 1/3 tea cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup ground walnuts
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter - optional
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
Method of preparation :
Put the basil, walnuts, garlic and salt in a blender bowl. Pour olive oil and grind to a puree with a rough uneven texture.
Then add the parmesan, butter and beat everything for another 5-10 seconds.
You can serve the pasta sauce of your choice, as well as pour 2 tablespoons of the broth in which they were cooked into the pesto.
